Mapusaurus had a skull that was over 6 feet long, and it is estimated that it reached lengths of up to 40 feet and weighed around 8-10 tons. It was a quadrupedal animal that likely had a powerful bite and strong jaws, which it used to hunt other large dinosaurs. It was discovered in Argentina in early 2000s, and several fossils have been found, including several complete skulls and multiple individuals found in a single bone bed, which suggest that it lived in large groups.
